Our Savior Lutheran Church News

The family of Our Savior is proud to announce that during the worship service of May 2 @ 10:15am, we will "officially" become a congregation in the church family of the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod. You are welcome to join us in the celebration at worship with a dinner to follow immediately afterward.

Wednesday evenings, February 17 (Ash Wednesday) through March 24th, @ 7pm we will walk through the season in preparation of the Passion of our Lord with a study of a variety of kings- 5 Old Testament and 1 New Testament. This will all lead us up to the King of kings. Join us on Wednesday evenings to reflect upon "hump day" in your week with God's Word.

The inspired Gospel according to St. Luke is our study for 2010. We have selected Luke's Gospel account since this year's weekly Gospel readings will be mostly from St. Luke's Gospel. Join us Sunday mornings at 9am.

As fall and winter approach, the St. Joe food pantry is requesting additional assistance in providing food for their shelves. As we look at the headlines and experience financial difficulties in our own families, we are reminded of our blessings from God when we see people who do not have food. Let's fill the back of the "Fit" the fourth Sunday of every month.
